This morning (early) my son woke us up (crying), telling us that Fatty had died :(
Fatty came into our family about about 4 years ago.
He was being fostered by an animal rescue group.
He was REALLY FAT! ...hence the name.
His real name was Buttercup, mostly because I thought it was hilarious.
We also called him Fat Fat.
This past winter and spring he began to get very thin.
We knew he was old when we adopted him, but we had hoped we were wrong.
He is a New Zealand White.
We will miss him very much.
Fatty is an albino and blind.
Fatty LOVED to eat fruit.
He was a wonderful quilt model.
This is our favorite picture of Fatty. We used to joke that Fatty was the Easter Bunny. This is a picture of him sitting in our HUGE roasting pan...
I guess Easter is cancelled :(
We buried him this morning next to our first bunny, Thumps.
Megan will be so sad. We are so sorry to hear this.
