Another busy day :) I was able to attend the first meeting ever of the new quilt guild here in our very own Payson. We decided on a name, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was! Met all kinds of WOndERFUL ladies and learned about a few different quilt retreats and sewing expo's. I am SO excited! I am going to be making our blog, so I'll get on that in the morning. I have lots of GREAT pictures. We will be meeting the last Tuesday of each month at Peteetneet from 10am to 2pm.
As for my quilting, I finished the top for the February $29 Quilt from Morganson's Stitches & Sew Forth. Rebecca Morganson designs these wonderful quilts. I suppose I am not all the way finished, I still need to put on the applique bows in the corners and trim the scallop edges. I need to get the backing too. I am thinking yellow minky. I'll decide tomorrow. Tomorrow, I need to put a serious dent into the kids easter bags. I am linking up this top with:
finish it up Friday on crazymomquilts.blogspot.com
And since I mentioned the MOrganson's $29 quilt, here is the March $29 quilt. I'll get this one cut really soon. I think I am going to send it to my nephew in Seatle for his 8th birthday. It might be too young for him, but it's SO DANG CUTE!
