The entire lot of receiving blankets are finally finished :-)
Four for each grand baby, eight total!
One Christmas themed one with a crochet edge for each baby.
This one is for baby Olivia.
Two chenille edge blankies for each baby.
...and two just plain flannel for each bambino.
Some have commented that I may have gone a little overboard...
Buts seriously, what else can I do? I am getting two first grand babies at the same time and I am a manic quilter. There really is no other option ;-)
Stop by tomorrow and see the final blankie installments. They are finished and just waiting for daylight to be photographed. I'll give you a hint, I combined the two softest fabrics to make the ultimate silky-softie-snugly blankie!
I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as too many receiving blankets. :)
