Anna's Wedding Quilt Sew Day

Thursday my quilting bff's came by to help me wrangle my daughters wedding quilt.  I am SO happy they did.  We got a TON finished today :)

This is the block.  We made 12 :)
The finished block size is 24-3/4"


Konda came at 9 and cut and pressed hst's for me.


Annette showed up next.


Konda left to educate the world in all things math and soon Shanelle arrived.


Finally, April and Sue came along to round out the fun times.


April, Annette and I sewed while Shanelle cut and pressed and Sue soon became the Queen of Pressing when Shanelle had to go.

I have arranged the blocks and will be putting them together tomorrow.  There is a hst border that needs some attention too.   ...AND I have to come up with a backing for it.

I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am for these WONDERFUL ladies!!!

    Beautiful! It's amazing how quickly quilting goes with multiple sets of hands, isn't it? Plus, it's more fun!

    It is a beautiful quilt. Too bad my mom didn't do anything like that when I got married. Luckily my Mother-in-law made me a beautiful quilt that I still have and use after 47 years.
