My name... it's hard to see :)

The back of my name quilted
I started quilting this last night.  It didn't take as long as I thought it would.  I took several mental health breaks from the quilting.  By three o'clock today I had it trimmed and the binding all sewed on.  I can't wait to get the binding finished :) ....and start another quilt ;D  Well, actually, I am going to finish the Brown Quilt Blues Quilt first.  I may sent it out for quilting.  It is SO large!!!  We will see how I feel after I finish the back tomorrow.

Below is the Stitches & Sew Forth $29 quilt.  Each month they do a mystery quilt for just $29.  The BIG chunk of fabric at the bottom of my pile is matching Minky for the back of my quilt :)  It was $30.  The binding was also $4 extra.
Here is what it should look like when I am finished ;D

It folds up nice to tote around :)  It will even sit on my lap!

I bought this this morning at Creative Sewing in Provo after my quilting class. (See block below)  It has an ironing board on one side and a cutting board on the other :)  It's called The Omnigrid FoldAway Portable Cutting and Pressing StationsIt fits perfectly on the table next to my sewing machine.  I am SO happy!!!  The quilting class is pretty awesome!  You pay $5 the first time you come.  So long as you don't skip, are on time and bring your finished block, the next class and block fabric kit is free.  I'm pretty excited!!!

I went rouge and totally remodeled the Sweet Baby Quilt.
Now it is going to be an awesome throw ;D

A sloppy lay out to get the colors right.
I used the Little Apples jelly roll for the borders.

This is the example quilt made by Jill Wilson.  My fabrics are a bit different.  I can't wait to get started :D

I had a CRAPPY migraine this morning so I went internet fabric shopping.  I really wanted to check out the Jelly Rolls that I have heard so much about.  They are VERY expensive.... at least to me they are.  I found these two on sale.  I also got sucked into a Christmas quilt for next year and a darling quilt pattern.  Simple and cute.  I found these all at  http://www.quiltablefabrics.com/.  I am planning on having a bunch of fun!!  I also signed up for another quilt class at church :)  The teacher is dropping off the fabric tonight at my house.  I'll post a picture tonight :)  I am still working away at trimming up all of the half square triangles.  Boy, it is going to take me a while!  I am hoping to be done with it in the next day or so, so I can get that bad boy pieced :)  I did design the pattern for it because I have decided to do it "on point."  I learned this term as I was surfing the net looking for a pattern to follow.  It will be a bit tricky, but I think I'll prefer it in the end :)
