Little TINY Patchwork Zippered Pouch

I needed a little zipper pouch for my new PINK Wonder Clips :)

Emily had hers in a zippered pouch, so I needed to make myself one too :)

I had some leftover scraps from Baby Olivia's quilt.

Aren't my Wonder Clips cute??

I am so super excited :)

ps- the squares are 2".

Red & White Zippered Pouch

A customer ordered a cute little zippered pouch for a secret gift
exchange at a quilt retreat she is going to.

The recipient loves red :)
The interior fabric is by American Jane.

Every time I make a red and white pouch I want to keep it for myself!

I used NoodleHeads open wide zipper pouch tutorial. Link HERE.

Oh, how I love this bag!

More Christmas Gifts

I made these for Mike's (my soon to be sil) mom for Christmas.

I added one of my labels from when I used to sell bags.

This is a wristlet I made for his little sister.

Here favorite colors are pink and blue.

Perfect!!

Quilted Zippered Pouch

When ever I sew something, one or more of my children ask if I will make them one too :)

My 7 year old has been asking for a zippered pouch for quite a while now.  He has had the black zipper set aside for his bag for months.

When I finished his duffle bag, there was a good size piece of the quilted body fabric left over.  It whipped together into a simple zippered pencil case just for my baby :)

Vinyl Front Zippered Birthday Pouch

With 6 children, there is always a birthday party to go to around here.

The Front.

This has become my go to gift for the kiddos.

The back.

I made this from CrazyMomQuilt's tutorial HERE.

I fill the bags with goodies that I bought when all of the school supplies were on sale ;)

See how nicely they fit?

All zipped up and ready to go!

The fabric is from Emily's Going Coastal and Shore Thing fabric lines.

"anything else I can cram in"

A hat for my daughter...
..that didn't work out so I had to undo it and make this one..

...and this one too :)

Next, some fabric fun :)

...a birthday makeup bag for Ella...

An impromptu patchwork for the outside out of Sending My Love by Henry Glass & Co.

A little red gingham goodness inside.

And for an added bonus, here are my families Christmas Stockings that I have made over the years as our family has grown :)

My mom made the bears a few years ago for the kids.

My hubbies stocking is the BIG one on the right ;D

Laundry, Bags and MORE Laundry

I didnt do ANY laundry last week so I needed to do some serious repenting today!  I got it mostly all finished and put away :D  Yeah me!  That may be my most dramatic finish in a LONG while!
Anyhoots, I made a vinyl front pouch for my nephew's birthday yesterday.  I filled it with nothing less than Swedish fish :)

I'm not sure he liked it, but my boys did ;D
Today I made a pouch for a friends birthday.

She wasn't home, so I'll have to give it later.
After the kiddo's got home from school I went over to my neighbors house and learned how to do the heal on my sock :)
This yarn is TOO cute!!  I  am excited to finish it :)
Tomorrow is the Payson Quilt Guild meeting!  I am going to cut out the rest of my Retro Flower quilt and hopefully start pinning it up for sewing :)  I want to give it to myself for my birthday along with a pair of DARLING socks ;D  I am such a clever girl!!
Have a good night!  I am off to sleep....

More Zippered Pouches

We were invited to a last minute birthday party for my daughters best friends.  They are twins :)  I of course decided to make them a pair of darling zippered pouches FILLED with Swedish fish :)  I'll explain the fish in a sec...

So, where did the fish come from (I know they are not in the pics, but here is the back story...)

My daughter was asked to prom by on of her friends.  To ask her, he did this to her room...

I didn't get a picture, but there were two HUGE bags worth of Swedish fish in her bed under the covers.  It's a good thing we all LOVE Swedish fish.  She will be finding fish in her room for YEARS!! Sam used about 10 Costco sized bags of fish.  She has decided to fill his room with shredded paper to answer him :)
