Yes, a few tears have been [almost] shed.
(Are you ready?)
THE MEDALLION QUILT TOP IS FINISHED!!!
(Blurry picture of it on my Cal King bed)
I was thinking that it needed TWO more borders,
but after a few sleepless nights,
[a few temper tantrums]
...one solid fabric border was decided upon.
The last border represents my Katie-Bug. She IS Sleeping Beauty!
She can sleep face down on the living room floor for hours!
I hand appliqued this wonderful Heather Ross print onto the corner pieces.
One center medallion, 8 borders to represent each member of our family.
Done! Fini! Finito!
(Now I have to baste it and quilt it.... I don't want to :(::::::......)
(I think Konda or Annette wants to)
Love this! It turned out beautiful--well done!
ReplyDeleteWow! It is gorgeous! What a beautiful addition to your home!
ReplyDeleteWhat a mammoth task ! Surely the result is not an oversized elephant, but a "pretty spring day breeze!"
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!

What an accomplishment! I'm sad I won't get to see it in person at the June meeting--it looks amazing. I love that each person is represented in their own border. =)
