Hobo Bag with a Paganelli Flare

Monday was my friend Marianne's birthday.  Our birthday's are just a week apart. :)

She loves purses and bags and I have been itching to break into my Crazy Love fq bundle I got for my birthday.

A year ago I found this Hobo Bag by J Caroline Creative (the pattern is HERE.)

It is a simple, DARLING pattern!

I even added a super secret zipper pocket ;)
(a little Shore Thing peek-a-boo)

I will be making this bag again!

More Christmas Gifts

I made these for Mike's (my soon to be sil) mom for Christmas.

I added one of my labels from when I used to sell bags.

This is a wristlet I made for his little sister.

Here favorite colors are pink and blue.

Perfect!!

Wristlets for the AMAZING Teachers

The big question each year is...

"What do you give our children's AWESOME teachers for Christmas?"

They deserve a trip to the Bahamas...

...but on our families non-existent budget,

...the Bahamas are out,

...and handmade is in ;D

I ran into these DARLING wristlets while perusing the internet world :)

I used THIS tutorial over at Pink Penguin.
(She has such AMAZING stuff!)

I am happy with how they turned out :)

I needed to make a few adjustments.

The straps were WAY too long, so I chopped about 3 inches off of the prescribed length.

I also added a key clippy thing :)

I hope they like them :)

(I do)

HAPPY BOXING DAY!!! xoxo

Crazy Love Tote

One last "For Hire" project for Christmas :)

I finished this cute little tote Tuesday night.... except for the flower, that gave me fits!

I wrestled the flower into submission Wednesday morning ;)

It's off to it's 11 year old girl for Christmas morning.

Zippered pockets..

....and a regular one for good measure ;)

Happy Christmas Eve Eve!! xoxo

Ford's Duffle

YIPPEEE!!!  Wednesday morning I finished up the last duffle and FINAL Christmas present for my family :)  I am SO happy to have this sewing finished :)

My sweet Ford LOVES the Legend of Zelda and so requested a Tri Force some where on his present.

I am super happy with the tri force, but not too happy with the black zigzag.  Zigzag is not my thing so I really should stay away from stitches that stand out ;D

Per the usual, there are pockets everywhere :)  One on each side in between the straps.

A pleated zippered pocket on each end.

...and to round out the pocket over load, a zippered pocket on each end in the interior ;)

The super fun top of the duffle.

The fabric is a fun Halloween print from Michael Miller.  There are flasks full of all kinds of scary, yucky magic potion ingredients :)

Mac's Duffle

When my boys saw me making my youngest son's duffle (blogged HERE), they all decided they wanted one for Christmas.

Mac is my sporty son.  This super cute Riley Blake print is perfect for him.

Each side of the bag has a pocket in between the straps.

The top of the bag.

One end pleated zippered pocket :)

The other end's pleated zippered pocket :)

REALLY big zipper pull tab thingy ;D

As I did with the other duffle, I added interior zippered pockets on each end of the bag.

Vinyl Front Zippered Birthday Pouch

With 6 children, there is always a birthday party to go to around here.

The Front.

This has become my go to gift for the kiddos.

The back.

I made this from CrazyMomQuilt's tutorial HERE.

I fill the bags with goodies that I bought when all of the school supplies were on sale ;)

See how nicely they fit?

All zipped up and ready to go!

The fabric is from Emily's Going Coastal and Shore Thing fabric lines.
