My first pair of knitted socks :) 5/1/12


For Christmas 2011, I decided to make slippers for all of my nieces and nephews.  I made 26 pair.  Of course, I decided to make them 2 weeks before Christmas ;D  I finished the last slipper Christmas Eve morning.  My hands were SO sore and crippled after crocheting for 2 weeks straight ;)  I even cried a little bit as I finished up ;)  Needless to say that the slippers that my mom wanted never got made ;)

PS- Most of these are scrappy, meaning I used up my HUGE yarn stash to make them :)  A++++

    The slippers are way cute. I have made it a goal to learn how to knit socks this winter! Wish me luck ;)

      Good luck! The socks weren't too bad. I used an easy pattern and had an awesome teacher!!!
