A little more WIPping :)

I've had a table runner for my mom on my to-do list for a while now.  I had planned on a Dresden plate runner, but I have to confess, I have fallen in LOVE with the granny squares!  They are SOOOOOO cute!  Any hoots, the runner got a switch-o change-o and is now sporting granny squares.  Check 'em out :)

AREN'T THEY CUTE????

Here they are paired up, ready to "square" dance.....lol

Now set up for some line dancing :)

Here they are trimmed, and sporting the "square" look ;D

I decided to do a white 2.5" sashing for them :)

Next came a 1.5" stop border.

Then a 2" final border.

These fabrics were chosen by my mom.  We've got 30's reproduction prints having a party with some French provincial fabrics.  They are playing really nicely together.
I've got the runner on my machine with about half of the quilting done.  I'll get him done tomorrow.  I need a movie to watch while I bind it :)
