#xplusalong is FINISHED! :)


Shortly after the #scrappytripalong was in full swing on IG, the #xplusalong started :)  I just had to jump on board, of course.
 

With the wedding madness, I wasn't able to finish this as quickly as I would have liked to, but it's done now ;D


A fun note about the binding and backing... my neighbor gave me a HUGE stack of fabric that came from her grandma's attic.  It is super fun, vintage and funky!  There were two fabrics that were PERFECT for this quilt :)  (The fabric is over 40 years old ;)  ..does that make me vintage?





This quilt is for my daughters bff who is expecting a baby girl at the end of the month. We are having a baby shower for her on Saturday.


She is naming her baby Austyn :) 


For the fabric I used a lay cake that my sweet buddy Emily gave me after market this past fall.  It's Happy Tones by Michael Miller


I did a daisy fmq.

    the colors of this quilt really arI like happy! I like the way the white makes it clear and crisp. Great pics!

    I was wondering where you got the pattern and what blog the quilt/along came from? the "click here" at the end just brought me back to this blog post. Did I goof? which is entirely possible!

    Darling quilt! Did you get the pattern on line? I also saw it but it costed about $8. My second question is, Do you ever take a break??? (although we are two of a kind!)
