I Know What I Am Going To-Do Today

Here is the skinny.... our oldest daughter was married last Friday.  We did the whole wedding and reception ourselves due to my hubbies unemployment ;)  So THAT is what I did last week <3

I'm tired...well, POOPED out so I have plans to do NOTHING whatsoever this week. ..except to finish the quilt for Alexa's shower on Saturday... YIKES!

Check back, I'll post anything I do end up getting finished ;)

I am for sure going to be washing linens until the cows come home :/

I will try to post more pic's later this week as I get them :)

(Just to toot my own horn, I not only did an ENTIRE wedding in four weeks, I also finished 3 quilts.  Two king size and one baby quilt)'s OK if you decided I am NUTS! ;D   ...none of which would have been possible with out my AMAZING family and friends :)

  1. Congratulations! I think the brides dress is stunning. So elegant! Can't wait to see a full pic of it. She's lovely!

  2. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding reception! So lovely. You are amazing! It was so good to see you again. I hope you get plenty of rest this week. :)

  3. May I say...very sincerely!...that you did a absolutely amazing job with everything! Maybe, besides quilting, you should get paid to help with wedding??!!

I am in awe at the beautiful quilt for the shower! IT IS soooo pretty! I love the colors and the fun design. =)

  4. You're a very busy lady!!! Please explain what a $29 quilt is, don't see references to it elsewhere.... thanks, get some rest...

  5. Looks like you did a great job on the wedding--even on a tight budget! Try to get some rest now :)

  6. It looks like it was a beautiful wedding. I love your daughters dress! Now we just need to see a picture of you with your daughter!

  7. It looks like you have your hands full. You are a Crazy Mom, and I don't know how you get it all done. I admire you a lot. I have been trying to get A FEW of my blocks of the month worked on. I am making progress, but not as good as you. Keep it up. Your wedding was spectacular.

  8. Congrats on your wedding! You definitely deserve a week off, time to recover! PJ's, meals in bed, movies, chocolate, and of course quilting!!! My oldest daughter got married last October, with a 5 week engagement! the next one is engaged now, with a May date. I love the bright colors in your quilts.

Thanks for leaving your thoughts! I LOVE to hear from you :) I cherish every word :) I read ALL of your comments and try to reply to every single one.... but it sometimes takes me a few days xoxo
