We left early Thursday afternoon. On our way up, we stopped in at Thimbles & Threads where I found the CUTEST fat quarter :)
We checked into our hotel in Logan and then buzzed up to Preston.
The quilt store we were going to is called Suppose. It is one of the COOLEST quilting stores in the WHOLE world! I may need to move to Preston! ...seriously!
Looks at the irresistible FQ's I found there :)
Aside from AMAZING fabric, Suppose had the most amazing selection of voile.
I see a skirt in my future!
Friday morning we had to head home :( To make it more tolerable, we stopped at a few quilt shops along our way.
In Logan we popped into My Girlfriend's Quilt Shoppe. I spent the whole time drooling over their full yard bundles of Joel Dewberry's Notting Hill collection. (I NEED me some of that collection)
In Brigham City, we stopped in at Village Dry Goods and picked up these goodies :)
Village Dry Goods was super cute and they will be moving in the next few days next door to a large place :)
Hexy prep, baby!
Once I got home I was able to give my sweet Katie-Bug her birthday present :)
If you think that this quilt looks familiar, it's because it is one of Emily's quilts from last falls quilt market.
I bound the quilt for Emily last year and Kate LOVED it!
Emily was AWESOME enough to let Kate have it for her sweet 16.
THANK YOU, EMILY!!!
(Kate didn't enjoy her photo shoot too much with the sun glaring in her eyes)
