Fun With Matryoshka Doll Fabric

I've got to plan a center block for a Round Robbin Bee my quilty BFFs have planned.  I think I am going to do a Dresden plate with these cuties :)

What do you think?

One fat quarter only made half of the blades, so I'm gonna need to shop for more ;D

  6. Very cute! Why not put a bright color between each one? then you wouldn't need more doll fabric, and I think it would make for an interesting look, just and idea, either way it would be darn cute.

  8. Very clever, and very fun. I like the way that you've created a secondary idea with the primary fabric. Sometimes those novelties are hard to use, but you've figured it out! Looking forward to seeing how they progress.
