So, here is the deal, I have to count my PointPlus Values :( I thought I could be all cool and skip it, but it's a lie and I am going to have to if I want to get back to my goal weight and running :(::::::........ I am not crying about being back at goal or running, I just want to be one of the 2 people in the world who don't have to worry about what and how much they eat. I want to be "normal".... wait, if there are only 2 people in the WHOLE world who can eat whatever they want, as much as they want, then I guess I AM normal ;)
So here are my "not so new" reaffirmed goals.
#1 In bed and (trying to be) sleeping by 10 pm. Who cares about the news, I can get all I need online!
#2 Get up at 6am, read the scriptures (yes, I'm a religious girl ;) and go RUN! ....well, it's going to be a walk run for a while as I build back up my strength and REDUCE my weight ;D
#3 Stick to my daily and weekly PointsPlus Targets.
#4 Weigh in on Wednesday morning.
#5 (this one is going to be the killer) DO NOT OBSESS ABOUT MY WEIGHT AND FOOD!!! I know what I should eat, so just eat it, shut up and MOVE ON!
#6 Finish one quilt a week, on average, until January 2013.
#7 Spend 15 minutes a day in the yard.
ps- If you don't know what PointPlus Values are check out WeightWatchers.com
I think this is all of them.... So, here is what I did yesterday :)
This is the Surf Shop pattern by Emily Herrick made with Emiliy's line Going Coastal. It LOVE this fabric!!! All of the surf boards are finished for my hubbies quilt. Today, I'll finish up the blocks and make the top. I hope to quilt it tomorrow :) I learned a ton making this quilt. I need to mark the pattern with my "learnings." There was one trimming error that I'll email Emily about. I am so glad that my math brain was working well yesterday or I would have ended up with a BIG problem ;)
Well, have a GREAT day! I am off to brush my hair & teeth and get the little boys out of the door. Well, first they have to feed the bunnies, take out the trash and unload the dishwasher... and brush their teeth...hair optional.... then I can send them on their merry little way ;D
PpS- I am already exercised, showered and dressed :) Yeah me!

Weight is such a challenge. I'm right there with you! I love your flowers and surfboards! So fun. Have a great day too and NO obsessing! :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks Deborah! I know, really, the whole obsessing thing drives me NUTS! We can do it :) WE CAN!! We just have to do all the things we know to do and forget the rest! Just like our kindergarten teacher taught us, "Do your best and forget the rest!" Words to live by :)
DeleteLove your surfboards! I want to make one of these. Good luck with the running. I am off for a morning swim!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Enjoy your swim!
DeleteMarion, I love your goals! You shouldn't have put the finish 1 quilt a week because you finish more than 1. Your surf quilt will be gorgeous! I love the pattern and the fabrics. Can't wait to see the whole quilt! Way to go with your running! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kati! :) Running is SO fun!
DeleteSeriously? You have to count points plus too? Crazy. That seems to abnormal! NOT. I am getting back on the wagon again too. It feels great! Love the blog and the pics. Keep it rolling.
ReplyDeleteYep :( I am a liar and a cheater and its time to pay the piper :/
DeleteYou go girl! Will you tell me the secret to actually getting yourself into bed by 10:00?!?!?!? That one ELUDES me! And I need to do it! : )
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the surfing quilt when it's finished. It looks really awesome so far!
The trick is to start getting ready for bed at 9:30... the past two nights its been 10:20 which is way better than 11:30 :) I've quit blotting at night, for the most part too. It is a battle, that is for sure! Good luck!!! ;)
