Corrine's Chevron Quilt is FINISHED!!! :)

It's late and I'm tired, but what's new ;D.  I am so happy this quilt is finished.  I needed a quilt finish this week.  The retro flower quilt is a slow goer and I need the buzz from a finish ;D  Here are the pictures.  I'll take some out side tomorrow :)

I ended up having to do white for the quilting on the back.  I tried to do black on the back but it could be faintly seen on the white front :(  I am really happy with this pretty queen sized quilt.
Tomorrow I am going to post detailed pictures of my Kindle Fire cover for Myra at http://shetaughtmetoloveit.blogspot.com/.  I may have to post some of her handy work that I have in my home :)  Myra is tremedously talented.  Look for it tomorrow.... Friday ;)
xo- HAVE a great weekend!!!

*** Outside pictures :)

The only parameters for the quilt models was to NOT LET GO OF THE QUILT ;D

PS- I am linking this post up with Confessions of a Fabric Addict WHOOP WhOOP!!
and Crazy Mom Quilts finish it up Friday!!!

  2. It came out just as expected... spectacular! :) Can't wait to see the outside pictures! Hope it's not raining in Utah...because it is here. I still envy you for all your energy to "poop" out quilts week by week. I'm happy that I've finished 4 blocks of mine :) You're making a really good progress with your retro flowers, what are you talking about??? I'm loving them so much I just wanted to ask you if I could make it in the future? :)
Have a lovely day and looking forward to your next post! XOXO

    1. Thanks Myra! The fmq was fine on this one. My sister bought a thin polyester bat so it quilted quite easily. The finished size is 94"x85". It was very light!

    1. Thanks, April! My sister bought the fabric at walmart. It was pretty good fabric as compared to some of the garbage I've seen there. The line sold out pretty fast at the three walmarts by me.
