...and other crazy things I do to keep myself from eating!
Great job and it's finished, yaaaay! Was the minky fabric tricky to work with? I always wanted to try it, but thought it's too slippery for me...
I was worried it would be, but its been great. When I make the quilt sandwich, the minky just has to be gently taut.... not too taut but not to slack, just like the porridge ;D
How cute is that? I'm digging the minky on the back...I'm working on a baby quilt that will have minky on the back...it will be my first time with the fabric.Btw, I love the name of your blog. :)
Great quilt! I'm glad to hear you like the minky. I have a few yards in my stash but I haven't been brave enough to try it yet. Good to know it isn't too hard to work with.
What a great quilt!! :o)
Love the fabrics! Sure to be treasured for years to come! Smiles~Beth
You have tons of finishes you go girl! Love this manly quilt!
The word "Manic" has been coming up a lot around my house regarding my quilting ;)
Did you seriously just start quilting this year?? I would never have guessed it. This quilt looks fantastic! With that cuddly minky back, he will definitely LOVE it. :)
Looks wonderful. I have never tried the minky. I don't seem to have any application for it. but it is tempting....
